A personal note
Hi, I’m David. I’ve been a VR enthusiast for over 12 years. While video games have traditionally been the main drawcard for VR, exciting new opportunities are emerging.
The evolution of camera technology has now given us the ability to capture memories in lifelike 3D, with a wide 180 degree field of view. Using a GoPro camera rig, H1N Zoom Recorder and a custom built software pipeline, I’ve been able to preserve moments with friends and family in a way that lets them truly relive the experience. It’s not just watching a video—it’s stepping back into a moment. It feels like magic.
I created ReliVR to give others that same experience, especially while this technology is still in its early and most exciting days.
From black-and-white, to colour... and now to fully immersive video—this is the next leap forward in how we capture and remember life.
